You Say You Love Me

     You say you love Me
          but do you respect Me?
You say you're close to Me
          yet you're so far away
I am waiting, just waiting for you
          What will you do?

I haven't seen you for days and weeks
We used to talk about everything like your needs
Where are you?  Why are you so ashamed?
You need My forgiveness to remove the blame

     You say you love Me
          but do you respect Me?
You say you're close to Me
          yet you're so far away
I am waiting, just waiting for you
          What will you do?

I hear your laughing yet I know you're hurting inside
Why do you insist that you can hide?
Where are you?  Why are you so afraid?
You need to turn again before it's too late

     You say you love Me
          but do you respect Me?
You say you're close to Me
          yet you're so far away
I am waiting, just waiting for you
          What will you do?

My child, I love you and I respect you
I am waiting, just waiting to see whom you will choose
Where am I?  I am right here by your side
I have the healing you need as you cry and cry

     You say you love Me
          but do you respect Me?
You say you're close to Me
          yet you're so far away
I am waiting, just waiting for you
           I am waiting....
          ...just waiting for you
          ...just waiting.....for ....you...

         What will you do?

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
   Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."                  Matthew 11:28-30
