Warriors on the Road

Minute by minute, hour by hour, he smiles while drivin'--
Workin' for for Jesus--he always goes the extra mile--
There are "drive-by prayers" for churches and friends--
Singin', and praisin' God alone can get intense

He's a prayer warrior truckin' down the road--
He's a praise warrior liftin' up The Lord--
He's a prayer warrior lettin' his light shine--
He's a prayer warrior prayin' day and night,
                                                           day and night!

Temptations come but the warrior stands his ground:
With the Holy Ghost inside and the armor of God on!
He reaches out to the lost truckers around him--
Soon he is ministering to many as a friend,
                                                        he's one of them

He's a prayer warrior truckin' down the road--
He's a praise warrior liftin' up The Lord--
He's a prayer warrior lettin' his light shine--
He's a prayer warrior prayin' day and night,
                                                           day and night!

Sometimes in the twilight just before the dawn,
when it's just so hard to see--
The warrior on the road sings,
                    It's just Jesus and me....
                              ...just Jesus and me...
