Warnings.

Warnings went out: people knew it was coming
They cannot say it was an "attack without warning"
Alerts and warnings and news flashed every day
We knew a terrorist attack was coming our way

Warnings went out:  people knew it was coming
They cannot say it was a return without warning
Preachers with warnings and good news spoke every day
We knew the Lord's return was coming our way

The great and terrible day of the Lord is here
Every eye shall see Him and tremble with fear
Repent right now my friend while it is yet day
Humble yourself, pray and turn from your wicked way

        The warnings have gone out to all who will repent
                                               and to all who refuse
       When Jesus returns there will be no time to lament
                                          and there will be no excuse
