Waitin' for War

Out here in the desert eatin' dust day after day
Waitin' for the war declaration to come our way
More and more troops arrive as time goes by
It's hard to believe it's war in the silence of the night

Waitin', waitin', preparin' for an awful war
Do we all really know what's in store?
Out here in the desert it's all about the water
Survival is livin' today then goin' farther

It's not knowin' what's next is what drives me crazy
I have to keep myself busy out here or I'll get lazy
Then I think about what's goin' on back at home
Then reality reminds me: it's time to "move out"

In the end it will worth it all
        We'll have answered The Call
