One Nightmare was so Vivid

I dreamt I was on one of the upper floors (81st floor?) in one of the World Trade Center Towers. [Note: I have never been in the WTC]  It was an office area with many cubicles. The sun was streaming in through the narrow windows. People were talking and working; phones were ringing. Fax machines and copiers and computers were humming.

There was the smell of fresh coffee.

Suddenly the plane smashed into the Tower in one of the floors beneath where I was standing. The building violently shook and I lost my balance.

What's going on?!?

Then it started getting very hot; the flames and the heat were so intense and people began screaming as the fire engulfed them.

and me.

This was so intense --so real-- I woke up and could not sleep again.  So I went downstairs and prayed for our President and leaders of this great country and for the families of all in this country and around the world who have been shaken by these terrible events.

* * * * * * *

We all who are watching and listening and praying will never be the same.
