I Had the Most Vivid Dream Last Night

I had the most vivid dream last night
I kept waking up:  it was like a movie
When I went back to sleep it started again
What's strange is I normally don't dream like that

I dreamt my son got on a helicopter
I was standing there watching the scene
The blades started to spin faster and faster
Then it took off and SUDDENLY it crashed

Immediately all I remember was I was weeping,  deeply sobbing
It was hard to breathe-- I dropped to my knees
"My son....my son!...my son....."   I just couldn't believe it
The surreal scene was just awful overwhelming emotion

I kept waking up during the weeping it was too much too bear
Then I'd go back to sleep and the weeping would start again
Then Police and Emergency vehicles rushed to the scene
Their flashing lights and wailing sirens made me cry even more 

Finally I was awake again --thank God-- 
but what did all this mean?  was this just a dream?
I prayed and asked the Lord and this is what He sent:

       "...the helicopter represents your life
         ...your son represents you
         ...the father in the story is Me

       "The message is that I love you so much
         I weep when you take off with your life without Me
         My weeping for you is so profound
         That's why you kept waking up
         My son...My son....I love you...don't leave without Me."

And with those words all I could do is repent
Awake and weeping this time I prayed 
          and asked Jesus to show me His way
And you know what's so awesome and good about God and His love?
          It's just that:

          He is.
