Trust Me

   Trust Me now I will not leave you
   Trust Me now I will always love you
   Trust Me now I gave My life for you
   Trust Me now I will not forsake you

Betrayed again by people I know and love
I have nowhere to go but to God above
Who can I trust?  but Jesus my Savior
Only God does not change and never wavers

I can hear Him say

   Trust Me now I will not leave you
   Trust Me now I will always love you
   Trust Me now I gave My life for you
   Trust Me now I will not forsake you

Lies to cover up lies and dark deception
I can't live any more on this false assumption
Everything is built on a sad sorry secret
My life needs to change from something I regret

I can hear Him say

   Trust Me now I will not leave you
   Trust Me now I will always love you
   Trust Me now I gave My life for you
   Trust Me now I will not forsake you

Reaching now to Jesus is the only way
I don't know what to do or how to pray
Jesus, I repent and turn my life over to You
I want -- I need-- to do what You want me to do

I can hear Him say
