Trinity?  What Trinity?

Tonight I'm staring at the three stars in a row in the sky...
I begin to think about my Creator and I really wonder why
Why do they say You are a trinity of three "persons" united?
Why is it a mystery?  No questions allowed, and none invited

Hungry for The Truth I search Your Word all night:  I want to see...
Looking in the index:  it's NOT there!  Trinity?  what trinity?
The word "trinity" is NOT in the Bible?!?  that's unbelievable!
Soon my research tells me the trinity is just a man-made fable

       How could something so important to knowing who God is NOT be there?
       Why does everyone believe this lie?  Why doesn't anyone seem to care?

Soon I discover there is nothing new (or three) under the sun
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD... and His name one
What about Jesus?  Philip asked Jesus, Show us The Father
And Jesus basically said, You're looking at Him, look no further!

Jesus is Immanuel, the one, true almighty God manifest in the flesh 
Jesus is the One, and His Name is the One above all the rest:
                         don't believe anything less!

Zechariah 14:9

Isaiah 7

Matthew 1

Ephesians 1
