There in Spirit

There in Spirit

I wish you were here       I know you were sent
    I wish I was there               I'm there in Spirit
I wish you were here       I know you were sent
    I wish I was there               I'm there in Spirit

Sometimes special circumstances separate us
We can't always be together working for Jesus
I've heard it said we should go where we're sent
I'm praying now and there with you in the Spirit

We're separated yet in the Spirit we're not alone
We're all working to further the kingdom of God
No matter where we are or what He leads us to do
Some day our paths will cross again,
if it's His plan
Jesus will see us through!

In the end, what I wish doesn't matter so much any more
I realize and I'm thankful,
that by the grace of God,
I'm alive and working for the Lord!
