Then came Jesus

Jesus is alive!  We've seen Him!  We know He is well!
He's conquered sin and death and the grave and hell
But sitting in the same room with excited believers
The Doubter spoke so negative echoing the deceiver

    Then came Jesus
    He's alive--right here, right now
    Be not faithless
    But believing--right here, right now

Then came Jesus right in the midst of them in that room
He came to comfort them and to offer The Doubter proof
When The Doubter saw Him, he worshipped Him and believed
Jesus said, Blessed are those who haven't seen me, yet believe

    Then came Jesus
    He's alive--right here, right now
    Be not faithless
    But believing--right here, right now

Jesus sent His Holy Spirit back to dwell in your heart
Repent right here, right now:  He'll give you a fresh new start
Let the Spirit of Christ dwell richly now within you
He will lead you and guide you and see you through

    Then came Jesus
    He's alive--right here, right now
    Be not faithless
    But believing--right here, right now

Jesus loves you

John Chapter 20
[24] But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.
[25] The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
[26] And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
[27] Then saith he to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.
[28] And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.
[29] Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

Romans 8

[1] There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
[2] For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
[3] For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
[4] That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
[5] For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
[6] For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
[7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
[8] So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
[9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
