The Road called The Wish

Why chase a dream at the expense of your friend?
Have you counted the cost and how it will affect them?
Sinful selfishness smells like rotten fish
When it drives your life down the road called The Wish

Acting on wishful thinking gets you to the place called Guilt
When you get there you wish the place was never built
But you were so blind...always going for the goal
You forgot what life really means and what is good

It's not too late to repent:  go back now with tears
Remember when God is driving, Victory is always near
He'll lead you down the narrow road called The Way
Faithfully following Him takes you to the place called Praise

Return to The Word, that Bread of Life you need to live
Stay faithful, pray, seek His face, turn from wicked ways...

Forgive.
