The Narrow Valley

I've been through many tough times before
We've been through many valleys so low
Together we faced the stress and danger
By the grace of God we walked through 
                                            pain and anger

This time is different the valley is too narrow
Alone I face the challenges and fiery arrows
The narrow valley offers one real choice
Go forward by the leading of The Lord's voice

Every time fear attempts to overtake my soul
I keep looking forward going toward The Goal
There's no way I will give up now, no way
By faith I know The Lord hears me when I pray

       Finally when I get through the narrow valley
           I hope to turn and see you at my side
      Then we will have joy because we passed
           the test together:  Follow me as I follow Christ
