The Long Winter Road

Bright winter sun reflects off snow-swept fields;
The world is so black and white, it's almost surreal!
Even the road I'm driving on is white-with-salt,
Soon I'm crying, enjoying God's beauty of it all--
There's salt on the highway, there's salt on my
face
I have tears when I remember last summer's grace
Lifting up Jesus with praise and worship music loud
I thank Him for then, I thank Him right now
Another town ahead, this time I know some who
live here:
So I pray that The Lord would bless them and hold them near,
More tears flow as I fill my car with thanks and praise,
I can't help but drive with one hand raised!
There's salt on the highway, there's salt on my
face
I have tears when I remember last summer's grace
Lifting up Jesus with praise and worship music loud
I thank Him for then, I thank Him right now
In the end when by the grace of God I
drive to up to our home,
I am so thankful Jesus stays with us on the long winter road!
There's salt on the highway, there's salt on my
face
I have tears when I remember last summer's grace
Lifting up Jesus with praise and worship music loud
I thank Him for then, I thank Him right now
Thank you Jesus
