The Grief Storm

It's so quiet .... I could hear a pin drop now
It's so calm .... It's the calm before the storm
I'm here in the valley by the still waters slow
Thank You Lord for restoring my soul
But--
what was that?
did you hear that?
Suddenly, the POWER
of the grief storm comes in
The lightning and thunder and hail is overwhelming
Wind and rain lash me as I bow down, I fall down
Weeping and sobbing in the grief storm, it's the grief storm
The grief storm shakes the earth
The grief storm shakes my world
The grief storm goes on and on
The grief storm becomes my song
The grief storm shakes the earth
The grief storm shakes my world
The grief storm goes on and on
The grief storm becomes my song
The earth shook, the earth shook
The earth shook, the earth shook
The heavens also dropped at the presence of God
The earth shook, the earth shook
The earth shook, the earth shook
Suddenly, the POWER
of the grief storm comes in
The lightning and thunder and hail is overwhelming
Wind and rain lash me as I bow down, I fall down
Weeping and sobbing in the grief storm, it's the grief storm
The grief storm shakes the earth
The grief storm shakes my world
The grief storm goes on and on
The grief storm becomes my song
The earth shook, the earth shook
The earth shook, the earth shook
The heavens also dropped at the presence of God
The earth shook, the earth shook
The earth shook, the earth shook
Let God be magnified!

Psalm 23
[1] The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
[2] He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the
still waters.
[3] He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for
his name's sake.
[4] Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will
fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
[5] Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
[6] Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Psalm 68
[8] The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the
presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of
Israel.
Psalm 70
[1] Make haste, O God, to deliver me; make haste to help
me, O LORD.
[2] Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them
be turned backward, and put to confusion, that desire my hurt.
[3] Let them be turned back for a reward of their shame that say, Aha,
aha.
[4] Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: and let
such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified.
[5] But I am poor and needy: make haste unto me, O God: thou art my help
and my deliverer; O LORD, make no tarrying.
