The Double Rainbow

Driving along the road in the storm on the top of the hill,
The words of Jesus came to me "Peace, be still"--
Suddenly along the horizon just ahead was a rainbow:
It shimmered with amazing colors and glowed--

I slowed down and said "Praise God" and grabbed my camera--
Then the rainbow changed and showed double--I was in awe--
What a wonderful perfect painting of God's creation
It was the highlight of my entire vacation!

After I snapped some pictures I thanked God for the promise
That He would be with us always and never leave us!
Sometimes the storms of life will come so hard and go,
But on the other side is the promises of God,
                                                     and a glowing rainbow!
 

When I walk through the valley in the deep dark woods,
I know that my Jesus is with me and He'll see me through
