The Destination of Imagination

They worked so hard and practiced for months
The day of the performance all of a sudden comes
Memorizing lines for the play or singing until it hurts
Feeling so nervous and anxious only makes it worse

Singing here now in the presence of the Lord
Playing for His pleasure He's worthy to be adored
Clouds of God's glory and fire fill this place
Jesus is here in all His majesty, truth and grace

The destination of imagination is pure talent
And talent anointed from God is heaven-sent
Performing with all their hearts and lifted hands
And having done all to practice, they stand

Singing here in the presence of the King
Playing for His pleasure:  He's everything
