The Defiance Alliance

Lies plus pride equals the defiance alliance
Living in sin so long:  truth almost has no chance
Darkness rules and reigns, covering your house
Even when the sun shines brightly the shades are drawn

Insisting with angry sincerity only adds to your pride
It's stinking thinking to assume you're always right
Disrespectfully disregarding the truth only hurts you
You say you're speaking your mind yet even that's not true!

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks
So when your heart is filled with lies your speech reeks
Stop:  repent and return today to The Way and The Truth
Only The Life in Jesus Christ can see you back through

       After the rain falls 
              and the rainbow shows
                     and The Son finally shines in
       I can imagine God smiling
               lovingly knowing that in end
                      The Truth always stands, always wins!
