The Burden

What is my purpose? why am I here?
Where is my faith? why do I fear?
Drifting, slipping into another season
What is the purpose? what is the reason?
O God---I have so many questions
I pray You have answers to these lessons
Why? Why am I feeling so alone and so lost?
What is the purpose? what is the cost?
The burden is deep crying unto deep
The pain is like searing summer heat
Dear God! I cannot speak it in words
The more I pray the pain only gets worse
Finally in the end I begin to
understand
The burden was on purpose all part of
God's plan

"Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we
should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us
with groanings which cannot be uttered.
"And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit,
because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God,
to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Romans 8:26-28
"Deep calleth unto deep at the noise of thy waterspouts: all thy waves
and thy billows are gone over me."
Psalm 42:7
"I sink in deep mire, where there is no standing: I am come into deep waters,
where the floods overflow me."
Psalm 69:2
