She's  a Teacher

She got up early this mornin' already
You see to her it's not just another day
She had to get her kids all ready
And she took time to pray

   She's a Teacher, called and anointed of God
   She's a Teacher, she takes time to care
   She's a Teacher, she takes time to love
   She's a Teacher, she takes time to share
   She's a Teacher......She's a Teacher

Like her kids she looked forward to this day
Today was the special field trip to the Zoo
'though the weather outside was cloudy and gray
Her attitude inside was sun-shiny and new!

   She's a Teacher, called and anointed of God
   She's a Teacher, she takes time to care
   She's a Teacher, she takes time to love
   She's a Teacher, she takes time to share
   She's a Teacher......She's a Teacher

Once there at the Zoo she humbly took command
The children followed and thank God none were lost
At each exhibit the Teacher took time to stand
And she answered many questions about what they saw

   She's a Teacher, called and anointed of God
   She's a Teacher, she takes time to care
   She's a Teacher, she takes time to love
   She's a Teacher, she takes time to share
   She's a Teacher......She's a Teacher

At the end of the day the children all had fun
They laughed and they learned and made memories today
It was fun the Teacher thought as she smiled in the sun
Prayer, patience and love is a small price to pay

   She's a Teacher, called and anointed of God
   She's a Teacher, she takes time to care
   She's a Teacher, she takes time to love
   She's a Teacher, she takes time to share
   She's a Teacher......She's a Teacher
