Rough Drafts

We're living epistles, known and read by everyone
They're watching, they're learning, they're listening
It's wonderful to be called and chosen by God
The key theme in what they're reading is love

Our lives are just rough drafts
The Author is still working on us
Every day is another chapter
        Every hour is another verse
What faith God has started in us
He will certainly finish
We have to stay on course
        We must not give up
                We must not give in

Our lives testify how great our God is: he freed us from sin
And now only in Him we live and move and have our being
It's wonderful to be called and chosen by God

We've been separated for a purpose on purpose and
In the end when we overcome all sin we will win
