Phases

There's a new moon hiding behind the night sky
Somewhere on earth a baby is born and cries
   It's just another phase of life passing by
   It's just another way God's greatness shines

There's a quarter moon shining in the starry sky
Somewhere on earth a child laughs and cries
   It's just another phase of life passing by
   It's just another way God's greatness shines

There's a half moon setting blue in the midnight sky
Somewhere on earth a teenager prays and cries
   It's just another phase of life passing by
   It's just another way God's greatness shines

There's a full moon rising orange in the evening sky
Somewhere on earth an adult prays and then dies
   It's just another phase of life passing by
   It's just another way God's greatness shines

No matter what phase of life we're going through
Always remember Jesus is Faithful and True
He is the Friend Who stays and sees us through
    In the end nothing phases us 
                     because of Jesus!
