Only One Week to Live

What would I do if I only had one week to live?
What would I do? what would I tell the ones I love?
Would I tell them the gospel of Jesus Christ?
Or would I stay in my house and hide?
Countdown....time is running out today...
Days, hours and minutes are slipping away...
Who can I tell? what should I do right now?
I've got to reach to everyone I can, some way, somehow...
What would you do if you only had one week to live?
What would you do? what would you tell the ones you love?
Would you tell them the gospel of Jesus Christ?
Or would you stay in your house and hide?
Countdown....time is running out today...
Days, hours and minutes are slipping away...
Who can you tell? what should you do right now?
You've got to reach to everyone you can, some way, somehow...
What would we do if we only had one week to live?
What would we do? what would we tell the ones we love?
Would we tell them the gospel of Jesus Christ?
Or would we stay in our houses and hide?
Countdown....time is running out today...
Days, hours and minutes are slipping away...
Who can we tell? what should we do right now?
We've got to reach to everyone we can, some way, somehow...
Together we've got to reach out...
We've got to reach to everyone we can,
some way, somehow...
some way, somehow....
before the end.

Acts 1
[1] The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus
began both to do and teach,
[2] Until the day in which he was taken up, after that he through the
Holy Ghost had given commandments unto the apostles whom he had chosen:
[3] To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many
infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things
pertaining to the kingdom of God:
[4] And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they
should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which,
saith he, ye have heard of me.
[5] For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the
Holy Ghost not many days hence.
[6] When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord,
wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?
[7] And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the
seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.
Acts 19
[1] And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having
passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples,
[2] He said unto them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye
believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there
be any Holy Ghost.
[3] And he said unto them, Unto what then were ye baptized? And they
said, Unto John's baptism.
[4] Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance,
saying unto the people, that they should believe on him which should come after
him, that is, on Christ Jesus.
[5] When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord
Jesus.
[6] And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on
them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
[7] And all the men were about twelve.
John 3
[1] There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of
the Jews:
[2] The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we
know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these
miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.
[3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto
thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
[4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is
old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a
man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom
of God.
[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is
born of the Spirit is spirit.
[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
[8] The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound
thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so
is every one that is born of the Spirit.
Acts 2
[36] Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath
made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
[37] Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said
unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
[38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of
you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive
the gift of the Holy Ghost.
[39] For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all
that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
[40] And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save
yourselves from this untoward generation. |
