Ol' Jacob

Ol' Jacob got outta jail that day on probation
(His third time so he called it re-probation)
He got out this time on good behavior
He claimed every day Jesus was his Savior

Soon as 'ol Jacob got out he called a friend and got in
He got in bad trouble that day all over again
He got away with it a couple of times
But like he always does he got caught in his lies

"I don't know what happened to that boy"
his old mamma said when he was caught
"It's like his conscience broke clean off.
"He walks around not afraid of anyone or anything
"He has no fear of the Lord He just goes out and does this sin."

This time as Ol' Jacob sat in his cell and reached for his Bible
No one believed him until he was born again later
                                                at the big Jail Revival
