RINGxiety:
Ringxiety is a portmanteau neologism formed from the words "ringer" and
"anxiety." It was first coined by David Laramie, a doctoral student at the
California School of Professional Psychology, whose dissertation concerned the
effects of cell phones on behavior. Ringxiety is described as the sensation and
the false belief that one can hear his or her mobile phone ringing or feel it
vibrating, when in fact the telephone is not doing so. (Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ringxiety
)
Ringtone:
Ringtone is the sound made by a cell phone to signal an incoming call, esp. one
that is customizable or is a song (Webster’s New Millennium Dictionary)

Can it be that simple?

Micro Story Entry: Paid in Full
Blood of the sacrifice was sprinkled seven times:
Jesus--
+sweated blood
+beard ripped out
+crown of thorns crushed
+scourged
+spiked hands
+spiked feet
+speared side
+++
Reference:
"He is to take some of the bull's blood and with his finger sprinkle it on the
front of the atonement cover; then he shall sprinkle some of it with his finger
seven times before the atonement cover. "He shall then slaughter the goat for
the sin offering for the people and take its blood behind the curtain and do
with it as he did with the bull's blood: He shall sprinkle it on the atonement
cover and in front of it. In this way he will make atonement for the Most Holy
Place because of the uncleanness and rebellion of the Israelites, whatever their
sins have been. He is to do the same for the Tent of Meeting, which is among
them in the midst of their uncleanness. No one is to be in the Tent of Meeting
from the time Aaron goes in to make atonement in the Most Holy Place until he
comes out, having made atonement for himself, his household and the whole
community of Israel. Then he shall come out to the altar that is before the LORD
and make atonement for it. He shall take some of the bull's blood and some of
the goat's blood and put it on all the horns of the altar. He shall sprinkle
some of the blood on it with his finger seven times to cleanse it and to
consecrate it from the uncleanness of the Israelites."
Leviticus 16:14-19
1 "And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down,
and prayed, Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me:
nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done. And there appeared an angel unto
him from heaven, strengthening him. And being in an agony he prayed more
earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the
ground."
Luke 22:41-44
2 "The Sovereign LORD has opened my ears, and I have not been rebellious;
I have not drawn back. I offered my back to those who beat me, my cheeks to
those who pulled out my beard; I did not hide my face from mocking and spitting.
Because the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore have I
set my face like flint, and I know I will not be put to shame."
Isaiah 50:5-7
3 "And the soldiers led him away into the hall, called Praetorium; and
they call together the whole band. And they clothed him with purple, and platted
a crown of thorns, and put it about his head, And began to salute him, Hail,
King of the Jews!"
Mark 15:16-18
4 "Wanting to satisfy the crowd, Pilate released Barabbas to them. He had
Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified."
Mark 15:15
5 "So the other disciples told him, "We have seen the Lord!" But he said
to them, "Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the
nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it."
John 20:25
6 "Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a
ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have." When he had said this,
he showed them his hands and feet."
Luke 24:39-40
7 "Instead, one of the soldiers pierced Jesus' side with a spear,
bringing a sudden flow of blood and water."
John 19:34

Micro Story Entry: Pilgrim's Process
So much suffering, so much cost--
My heart breaks because of loss--
Death descends destructive fear,
Trudging through the valley here:
Jesus walks with me.
+++
Reference: Psalm 23 (NIV)
1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.
4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever.

Now they’re screaming Crucify Him! with zeal.

And this nightmare.

Jesus’ Trial before Pilate
11 Now Jesus was standing before Pilate, the Roman governor. “Are you the king
of the Jews?” the governor asked him.
Jesus replied, “You have said it.”
12 But when the leading priests and the elders made their accusations against
him, Jesus remained silent. 13 “Don’t you hear all these charges they are
bringing against you?” Pilate demanded. 14 But Jesus made no response to any of
the charges, much to the governor’s surprise.
15 Now it was the governor’s custom each year during the Passover celebration to
release one prisoner to the crowd—anyone they wanted. 16 This year there was a
notorious prisoner, a man named Barabbas. 17 As the crowds gathered before
Pilate’s house that morning, he asked them, “Which one do you want me to release
to you—Barabbas, or Jesus who is called the Messiah?” 18 (He knew very well that
the religious leaders had arrested Jesus out of envy.)
19 Just then, as Pilate was sitting on the judgment seat, his wife sent him this
message: “Leave that innocent man alone. I suffered through a terrible nightmare
about him last night.”
20 Meanwhile, the leading priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for
Barabbas to be released and for Jesus to be put to death. 21 So the governor
asked again, “Which of these two do you want me to release to you?”
The crowd shouted back, “Barabbas!”
22 Pilate responded, “Then what should I do with Jesus who is called the
Messiah?”
They shouted back, “Crucify him!”
23 “Why?” Pilate demanded. “What crime has he committed?”
But the mob roared even louder, “Crucify him!”
24 Pilate saw that he wasn’t getting anywhere and that a riot was developing. So
he sent for a bowl of water and washed his hands before the crowd, saying, “I am
innocent of this man’s blood. The responsibility is yours!”
25 And all the people yelled back, “We will take responsibility for his death—we
and our children!”
26 So Pilate released Barabbas to them. He ordered Jesus flogged with a
lead-tipped whip, then turned him over to the Roman soldiers to be crucified.
