75 Word Mini Challenge –
Megan’s March 2

Ultra-Short Story #1
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Megan stared at the stain, horrified.
“Lord—please—don’t show me this again. I forgave my father last night…
I don’t understand…”
“This is your heart, Megan.”
Instantly, Megan realized the crimson stain
she saw was inner hurt.
Overwhelmed by memories of childhood oppression, she sobbed.
Megan muttered, “I hid it for so long. It hurts so much. Lord, please
heal me--help me—please…”
“Your faith has made you whole…”
Megan woke up, thankful.

Ultra-Short Story #2
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Megan stared at the stain, horrified.
This could only mean one thing, she thought. Minnie died.
Grandma Megan meandered into the house, desperately
calling to her kitty.
“Mini-Minnie! Minnieeee-meow!? Where are you, honey?”
Silence. Just the sound of the faucet dripping in the kitchen.
Oh…no… nooo… Lord, please let her still be alive. She’s my baby.
She’s my only friend, now that I’m old.
“Mini Minnie-Meowww!?” Megan hobbled slowly to her bedroom.
“Ohhh…there you are!”
Meoooow-purrrr....
