I just want to go home
Sometimes this old world just wears me down
Then I remember I once was lost but now I'm found
But still there's a longing deep down in my soul
I just want to go home, I just want to go home
Yes, Jesus, I just want to go home
I can't read the paper, it's mostly bad news
I can't watch TV with all the filth it spews
The radio is just filled with babble and bad music
The internet echoes them all--it's just sick
Sometimes this old world
just wears me down
Then I remember I once was lost but now I'm found
But still there's a longing deep down in my soul
I just want to go home, I just want to go home
Yes, Jesus, I just want to go home
Earthquakes, disaster, disease, terror and
war
What on earth are we fighting each other for?
As long as a man's heart is filled with wicked sin
He will never change until he is born again
Sometimes this old world
just wears me down
Then I remember I once was lost but now I'm found
But still there's a longing deep down in my soul
I just want to go home, I just want to go home
Yes, Jesus, I just want to go home
I just want to go home and leave it all
behind
But then--The Lord brings lost souls into my mind
I see them screaming, "Why did you tell me!?!"
Guilt is good when it moves me to tell them how to be set free!
Sometimes this old world
just wears me down
Then I remember I once was lost but now I'm found
But still there's a longing deep down in my soul
I just want to go home, I just want to go home
Yes, Jesus, I just want to go home
But nevertheless, Dear Lord--
not my will, but Your will be done--
I'll wait...Thank You Jesus

John 3
[1] There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a
ruler of the Jews:
[2] The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know
that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that
thou doest, except God be with him.
[3] Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily,
verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom
of God.
[4] Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can
he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
[5] Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto
thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the
kingdom of God.
[6] That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and
that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
[7] Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be
born again.
Acts 2
[37] Now when they heard this,
they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the
apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
[38] Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be
baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
[39] For the promise is unto you, and to your
children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall
call.
[40] And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save
yourselves from this untoward generation.
[41] Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same
day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
