Humble Transformation

Why do you resist?  Why do you insist?
Why do you yell at the sky with a balled-up fist?
How can you be so angry at the One who died for you?
Blaming the Blameless One only makes you a fool

Mad at the world, mad at him, mad at her
Mad at the boss, mad at the teacher, mad at God
So mad at everything and everyone
    The madness never stops
    The madness never stops

Drowning the madness by drinking only makes it worse
Surviving minute by minute, living from curse to curse

Violent and negative thoughts fill your mind and heart
The madness never stops, the madness never stops

Mad at the world, mad at him, mad at her
Mad at the boss, mad at the teacher, mad at God
So mad at everything and everyone
    The madness never stops
    The madness never stops

Humble transformation comes when you give your anger over to God
Jesus forgives your sins and heals your hurting heart
Tears of sorrow mix with tears of joy
The Holy Ghost fills the void

Wait, what's that peace you feel inside?
The madness stopped...
The madness stopped!
