Give Thanks

When you're in the valley, give thanks
When you're on the mountaintop, give thanks
When you're on the way down, give thanks
When you're on the way up, give thanks

In everything give thanks
For every day, give thanks
For every little thing, give thanks
For the breath of life, give thanks

When you're in the valley, give thanks
When you're on the mountaintop, give thanks
When you're on the way down, give thanks
When you're on the way up, give thanks

Oftentimes we don't understand what God is doing
When when we thank Him by faith we're trusting
Trusting Him to help us through another day
A thankful attitude in the center of our lives is His way

When you're on the way up, give thanks

        Counting your blessings is a good place to start
        Grateful appreciation for what you have truly moves
                                    our Father's heart
