Faith is spelled RISK

Rejected, alone, no friends to invite him home
The criminal was released, finally free to go
Every place he went, they voted "Not in my town"
Moving again, to try again, depressed and down

He couldn't help but think things were better in prison
At least he could eat and have the same bed to sleep on
He decided and was about to commit another crime
when something happened that changed his life,
                                                             changed his mind

Someone from that Pentecostal church reached out to him in love
He showed Jesus to the criminal by his actions, not just words and fluff
Some days and weeks passed and the men became close friends
The day they prayed together Jesus forgave all his sins!

       Faith is spelled RISK
And risk means going out on a limb
because that is where the fruit is
