Encouragement is Courage Heaven Sent

 


When I'm at the end of my patience--
When life isn't good or doesn't make sense--
I look up and ask the Lord to help me up;
I need the strength and courage to go on...

   Encouragement is courage heaven sent--
   Those times when I need help and need a friend--
   Jesus sends someone to reach out and lift me up,
   Then I have the strength and courage to go on...

There are times when it's hard to sing, hard to pray--
Storms of life seem to rage together all in one day--
Hurting, I look up and ask the Lord to help me up,
And He gives me the strength and courage to go on...

   Encouragement is courage heaven sent--
   Those times when I need help and need a friend--
   Jesus sends someone to reach out and lift me up,
   Then I have the strength and courage to go on...

Thank you Jesus for the encouragement that comes my way--
Thank you for helping me through the valley of another day...

Praise You, Lord...

Psalm 10:16-18 (New International Version)

16 The LORD is King for ever and ever;
