Easter 2003 A.D.

Dressing in our best and heading to church
Trying to get there early before the big surge
The service is wonderful because Jesus is alive!
It's an awesome memory with my family at my side

Dressing in our uniforms and heading to war
Trying to get there early to surprise the enemy more
The battle is fierce and I'm thankful to be alive
It's an awesome memory with my unit at my side

The promise of Jesus on Easter is here
No matter where we are we walk by faith not fear
It's wonderful to know that Jesus is alive!
He's not a dead God He invites me to His side

        Easter is different and awesome this year
        Because the return of Jesus is so near

It's so clear
