Early in the Morning

You don't spend time with Me any more,
Could you not tarry with Me for just one hour?
Here I am, knock, knock, knocking at your door,
Knocking at the door of your soul, so:

Please let Me in early in the morning,
Just when the day I've made is dawning.
My child, I'm not asking for much,
I want to give you My loving touch.

What is one hour out of twenty and four?
Remember, I've given you so much more:
Here I am, knock, knock, knocking at your door,
Knocking at the door of your soul, so:

Please let Me in early in the morning,
Just when the day I've made is dawning
