Deception
Perception
When a person's
perception is darkened by deception
When hiding the truth becomes an awful obsession
You're living a lie and therein lies the problem
You never accept you're wrong: "I'm not to blame!"
Walking every
day choosing to be blinded by this awful sin
You're trying to hide from God and any self-inspection
Walls of paranoia, panic, fear and doubt grip your soul
You're favorite, famous last words are "Leave me alone!"
People ask you
questions and you respond with lies
Your sin hurts others around you: it will be your demise
Why must you continue so pathologically uncaring?
What gain do you think you're getting by the tales you're carrying?
In the end your lies will cease
When the light of the Truth is
released
