Day Dreaming

Day dreaming about expanding
this building
Ever open to the idea but never never willing
Never willing to work out there in the field
It's a sign of pride and unwillingness to yield
Seeking the end while ignoring
the means
A stubborn man is one who refuses to see
He sees only selfish expansion nothing more
It's his dream built on a foundation unsure
Dreaming about construction
but not about souls
Filling in the details of his backwards goals
Goals unattainable but inexcusable
It's a dream that's flawed and unstable
Still day
dreaming while several souls walk away upset
Still clueless, it's sad to see, because he just doesn't get it

"Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the
labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that
he would send forth labourers into his harvest."
Luke 10:2
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
"In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
"Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil."
