Day Dreaming

Day dreaming about expanding this building
Ever open to the idea but never never willing
Never willing to work out there in the field
It's a sign of pride and unwillingness to yield

Seeking the end while ignoring the means
A stubborn man is one who refuses to see
He sees only selfish expansion nothing more
It's his dream built on a foundation unsure

Dreaming about construction but not about souls
Filling in the details of his backwards goals
Goals unattainable but inexcusable
It's a dream that's flawed and unstable

Still day dreaming while several souls walk away upset
Still clueless, it's sad to see, because he just doesn't get it

labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that
he would send forth labourers into his harvest."

"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
"In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
"Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil."
