Beautiful Bells and Wedding Songs

Two old friends horribly teased each other so much--it was very rude:
Sometimes their constant teasing affected each other's attitude--
They knew each other for years but were just too proud to admit it:
They actually loved each other deep down inside, so why fight it?

One day the man's son set up a dinner so his dad and his step-Aunt could meet:
It was a pleasant surprise that at first didn't go over so great--
But after they both got over the initial shock and awe--
They realized that night that they both were deeply in love!

What a pleasant surprise to all to see them laughing together--
No sarcasm or name-calling, no small talk about the weather--
It had to be Divine intervention, a meeting ordained by God,
As the son looks up into heaven and says, "Thank You Lord"...

In the end, God's love covers and rights a multitude of wrongs,
And very soon two old friends hear beautiful bells and wedding songs!

John 3:27-30 (NLT)
27 John replied, “No one can receive anything unless God gives it from heaven.
28 You yourselves know how plainly I told you, ‘I am not the Messiah. I am only here to prepare the way for him.’
29 It is the bridegroom who marries the bride, and the best man is simply glad to stand with him and hear his vows.
Therefore, I am filled with joy at his success.
30 He must become greater and greater, and I must become less and less.
