September 11th, 2005

Four years after September 11th, 2001
The war on terror continues on and on
Thank You God we've had no attacks on U.S. since then
It's good to remember how good God's been

Remember the shock and fear we felt that day?
Remember how we gathered in public schools to pray?
Remember how no planes flew for about a week?
Remember the destroyed buildings and hearing people weep?

Flashback memories of 9-11 come to mind today
As the USA responds to help the victims of the hurricane
So much devastation and unexpected loss of life
We almost have no choice: we should respond--
                  we MUST respond-- this is right

We responded four years ago and we did whatever we could
It's a new year, a different disaster, the human needs are greater--
                  we should respond:  it's good.

It's good to remember
