He simply shines!

                    

     Help, LifeGuard, please help
     There's no way my friend can save himself
     He can't find his way out on his own
     He needs to find his way home

My friend is trapped and drowning, drowning in a sea of sin
Please come and help, I know you can help, please help him
He's been deceived and he thinks there's nothing wrong today
Please help--he's threatening to take his life--can he be saved?

     Help, LifeGuard, please help
     There's no way my friend can save himself
     He can't find his way out on his own
     He needs to find his way home

Please forgive me, dear Lord, for coming before You so bold like this
But I know deep down in my soul that You called me for such a time as this
You are my Lifeguard, dear Jesus and I know You alone can save my friend
Please make a miracle for my friend and deliver him now--before the end--

     Help, LifeGuard, please help
     There's no way my friend can save himself
     He can't find his way out on his own
     He needs to find his way home...then

Blinking back the tears of joy unspeakable--I'm still amazed every time
When my Lifeguard, Jesus Christ saves a soul from sin, he simply shines!
