Good Friday, 2002 A.D.

Palestinians and Israeli's meet for peace again
Soon we find out it's not peace meant but appeasement
One side offers and gives and compromises more
Yet the terrible terror escalates into unthinkable horror

Appeasement meant for peace allowed the enemy to move within
And the evil like a cancer grows and moves men to awful sin
Finally the cancer grew to infect the entire nation of Israel
So many suicide bombings and violent attacks seem surreal

One more time both angry sides sit down to meet
One more time appeasement is substituted for peace
Treating the symptoms of the evil never makes it go away
The false peace is broken again and war breaks out in another wave

In the end on Good Friday there is only one solution for all:
Come --whosoever will-- to an altar God has called:
Repent and kneel unto the Lord Jesus now:
For at the Name of Jesus, one day very soon
                                      every knee shall bow
