Freedom's Cause

Grief-stricken parents, along with many relatives and friends,
The loss of their solider son causes many to make amends...
Later weeping by the pictures, now all just passing memories:
He was sacrificed for Freedom's Cause, to keep U.S. free

Freedom is not free, my friend--there's always a price--
We walk, talk and shop free on the blood of ultimate sacrifice...
Remember to support and pray for all those who serve:
They volunteered--willing to fight for us--
it's the least they deserve

Grief-stricken Mary, shaking, kneeling by the cross of Christ,
The loss of her first-born son is a heavy, overwhelming price...
Later weeping by the temple, now all just passing memories:
He was sacrificed for Freedom's Cause, life everlasting

Freedom from sin is not free, my friend--there's always a price--
We live and have our being on The Blood of ultimate sacrifice...
Remember to support and pray for all the brethren who serve:
They volunteer, willing to fight the good fight for us:
it's the least they deserve
