Praise the Lord!  Good Friday is finally here--
We've been looking forward to it for about a year!
We made it through another wacky winter, weather-wise,
As we look forward to warm summer wind and bright blue skies...

But look up! beyond the weather to Jesus our Savior:
Almighty God who humbled Himself and came to the earth!
He gave Himself as a sacrifice for all of our sin:
He loved us first when we didn't even really know Him...

Every Friday is a good Friday when we live for Jesus:
You cannot compare Him to any other god or anyone else!
When He came forth out of the tomb on that glorious day,
He made it possible that all people everywhere could be saved!

       Thank You Jesus for this wonderful day that You have made...
       Thank You Jesus for allowing me to be in Your presence, safe...
