Thank you, Pastors

My daughter was in labor early that Sunday morning;
I had to call our Pastor after I heard how it was going...
Part of me didn't want to bother him, but we needed help,
Because our new grandson was almost born "still"...

I went down to the chapel to pray and then to get some coffee--
And when I returned, I stopped in awe, I almost couldn't believe--
2 Pastors--on a Sunday morning--were there in the room praying!
I immediately broke down, as I felt the presence of God, crying...

After we prayed together, our Senior Pastor assured us
That the situation was in the mighty hands of Jesus...
A few days later, the baby was doing so much better!
Our Pastor was there again: We thanked and praised God together!

Thank you, Pastors for your willingness to lead by serving--
by going the extra mile for The Master:
Your steadfast, loving, available attitude to study, pray,
teach and preach--by just being there--means to much,
in the middle of any disaster.

Thank You Jesus.

My Bible has this meaning for Matthew: "Gift of Jehovah"

+ + +

copied from http://www.behindthename.com/

MATTHEW m English, Biblical
"gift of YAHWEH" from the Hebrew name Mattityahu. Saint Matthew, also called Levi, was one of the twelve apostles (a tax collector)...

also:

LEVI m Biblical, Jewish, English
"attached" from Hebrew lewi. In the Old Testament Levi was the third son of Jacob and Leah, and the ancestor of one of the twelve tribes of the Israelites (the tribe that eventually became the priests of the Israelites). In the New Testament this is another name for the apostle Matthew.
