Take Care, and Give Thanks

I know it hurts, my friend, but it's time for me to go...
Thank you for praying and letting me go --God knows--
This mission is important for the kingdom of God:
Jesus is the reason we reach to others in love

No matter what happens or what I will face,
I'll remember what you told me when you sang,
       Take care, and give thanks

       Walk with the Lord every day
       In every situation, give thanks
       Take care, and give thanks
       Take care... and give thanks...

Sitting on the plane, I remember our last day and I cry...
I miss you already as I watch the clouds rush by.
About then the passenger next to me notices my tears,
"Do you need some Kleenex? I have some right here..."

"Thanks..." I said and cried some more--

No matter what happens or what I will face,

As it turned out that passenger needed to hear the gospel,
We talked about my Jesus--there was so much to tell!
I gave my testimony of how Jesus rescued me from sin,
And how wonderful He was to choose me for the mission

The time on that trip passed by so fast, when we left the plane
I strongly felt the Lord lead me as I stopped, paused, then sang:

       Take care, and give thanks
       Take care, and give thanks
       Walk with the Lord every day
       In every situation, give thanks
       Take care, and give thanks
       Take care... and give thanks...

Take care...
and give thanks...
