Storms Out of Control

Strengthening storms surge seemingly out of control
Weather folks forecast which way the storms will go
Sometimes they say the storms have a mind of their own
But sometimes over-reporting the storms is overblown

Standing on a beach on a sunny day 2 days before landfall
They tell us to get out now before the storm comes to call
But, shouldn't they heed their own excellent, wise advice?
Is getting hurt (or worse) worth the silly sacrifice?

Sin-stained souls surge seemingly out of control
Teachers preach to them which way they could go
But these folk always have a mind of their own
They hope the end-time storm is just overblown

In the end the weather reporter only means well
And the preacher warns lost souls
to find shelter from the storm:
choose Jesus and heaven, not hell.
