Simple Sweet Symphony

A cacophony of conversation crescendos before the concert;
The smorgasbord of sounds rumbles loud like a waterfall...
Then--all at once--there is a hush as the lights turn down,
Anticipating expectation is thick like a cloud all around

Suddenly the sound of singing and the musicians appear,
The concert for God is starting--it's finally here!
Dramatic music draws the audience to the edge of their seats,
And soon they are all clapping and jumping to their feet!

Praising and worshipping God in a might wave of harmony--
The audience lifts up Jesus like a sensational symphony!
Together now the audience and the singers become one,
Look and listen now to what The Lord has done!

What the guests just witnessed is the glory of God for all to hear and see--
It's a transformation from discordant disharmony to simple sweet symphony!
