Saved to Serve

Every day the Lord shows me why He chose to save a wretch like me--
Hurting people all around have prayer requests and desperate needs...
I will do all that I can to help them and Our Father does the rest:
I've been saved to serve others and always give God my best!

Saved to serve-- it's God's way to live
Saved to serve-- it's God's way to give
Saved to serve-- it's simple and true
Saved to serve-- it's my attitude

This world is filled with the greedy getting goods and acquire, acquire:
But serving others is godly joy when I give more than what's required...
No one is forcing me to do all the things that God leads me to do:
I am a volunteer in the army of the Lord: I do this because I want to!

Saved to serve-- it's God's way to live
Saved to serve-- it's God's way to give
Saved to serve-- it's simple and true
Saved to serve-- it's my attitude

In the end it's always the season to go the second mile and to serve:
When I give more than is demanded, I will get more than I deserve

23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
