Peace Officers

Every day we are on the frontline facing sin in the streets
We choose to give our lives for righteousness, justice and peace
We only ask for your faithful prayers and support in return
Pray with us for courage, strength, dedication and concern:

          Lord, I ask for courage-
          Courage to face and conquer my own fears...
          Courage to take me where others will not go. 

          I ask for strength-
          Strength of body to protect others...
          Strength of spirit to lead others. 

          I ask for dedication-
          Dedication to my job to do it well...
          Dedication to my community to keep it safe. 

          Give me Lord, concern-
          For all those who trust me...
          And compassion for those who need me...
          And, please, Lord, through it all, be at my side.

1 Timothy 2 (KJV)
[1] I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
[2] For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
