Out of Appreciation

The beauty of Thanksgiving Day is simple thanks and forgiving--
In contrast to the crazy Christmas season of greed and getting--
I am thankful for Thanksgiving to stop and slow down the pace,
Thankful for God's bountiful blessings of love, mercy and grace

Out of appreciation, I serve You Lord
Out of appreciation, I give You my love
Out of appreciation, I worship You Father
Out of appreciation, I give You my all

I appreciate my Lord Jesus, Most High above all the earth:
He is my Rock and strong tower, my fortress and deliverer!
I appreciate the Lord's Light that shines and keeps me saved!
Rejoice and give thanks at the remembrance of His holy Name!

Out of appreciation, I serve You Lord
Out of appreciation, I give You my love
Out of appreciation, I worship You Father
Out of appreciation, I give You my all

Come into God's presence with singing! Make a joyful shout!
We are His sheep --we know the Lord--and only He is God!
Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise!
For the Lord is good--His Truth endures to all generations!

Out of appreciation, I give You my love
Out of appreciation, I worship You Father
Out of appreciation, I give You my all

Never run out of appreciation because dismal bitterness is at the door:
It will cause you to walk away from the grace and mercy of The Lord--
Stay filled with thankful appreciation and fall in love with Jesus:
Give thanks in all things all the time is the attitude that pleases

Out of appreciation, I serve You Lord

Out of appreciation, I worship You Father
Out of appreciation, I give You my all

A Psalm of Thanksgiving.
 1 Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands!
 2 Serve the LORD with gladness;
         Come before His presence with singing.
 3 Know that the LORD, He is God;
         It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
         We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
         
 4 Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
         And into His courts with praise.
         Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.
