Living Outside of the Box

Normal routines, traditions and habits
All I know and perceive I put into my box
Living inside my box is secure and safe
Then one day my box just shakes, and shakes

It could be an earthquake or wicked storm
It could be terminal illness or called to war
It could be an accident or loss of a job
When my box shakes I turn to God, to God

But this year why should I wait until it happens?
I can live outside of my box and go where I was sent
Helping others whose boxes have been torn or destroyed
Fulfilling God's plan while filling the void they avoid

Living outside of the box is an awesome opportunity
Looking up and looking out
    Stepping up and stepping out
        Taking Christ to my community
