Life is too short

Life is too short       so go and make it right
Life is too short       don't hold that grudge   don't fight
Don't assume that today is just another day
Something could happen and your life would never be the same

We got into another dramatic fight earlier that day
I was so mad   I had to leave   I had to get away
My hands were shaking with stupid selfish anger
Then a voice from the past spoke and reminded me of the danger

Life is too short       so go and make it right
Life is too short       don't hold that grudge   don't fight
Don't assume that today is just another day
Something could happen and your life would never be the same

I usually would try to ignore the annoying voice
But that day I decided to stop:  and make a different choice
I stopped, turned around and went back and humbly asked
Please forgive me   Let's begin again   Let's pray   Let's fast

Life is too short       so go and make it right
Life is too short       don't hold that grudge   don't fight
Don't assume that today is just another day
Something could happen and your life would never be the same

When you turn back and commit your life into the Master's hand
He will hear from heaven, forgive your sin and heal your land

Make it right.

"
Something could happen and your life would never be the same"

2 Chronicles 7
[14] If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
