Don't be mistaken--Missed or taken?

I've been invited many times to the house of the Lord
The funny thing is I don't want to give up the world
I like my life the way it is...everything's going "my way"
But when I watch and read the negative news I just pray

    Don't be mistaken -- Jesus said "Ye do err..."
    It's true whether you believe it or not
    Jesus is returning to take us up
                                   to take us out
    So don't be mistaken:
    Do you want to be missed...or taken?

Many are called but few have chosen The Way
Jesus is the only Name by which we must be saved
You see I know all this--yet here I sit and resist
I try to shake my head no but my conscience insists

I keep hearing Him call whatever I'm doing and wherever I go
I see and hear it in the mall and on my favorite TV show
Jesus is calling--tenderly calling--drawing me back
Oh-why-not? I give in, I give up, my life right now is just a mask

    I won't be mistaken -- Jesus said "Ye do err..."
    It's true whether I believe it or not
    Jesus is returning to take me up
                                   to take me out
    So I won't be mistaken:
    I won't be missed...I'll be taken

          I won't be missed...I'll be taken...

Matthew 22
[29] Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.
